What is Burger Wars?
Burger Wars is a month-long competition, from April 1st to 30th, where local restaurants across the Annapolis Valley showcase their best burgers to support a great cause.
How It Works
It’s a simple “dollar-per-burger” model: for every featured burger sold during the event, participating restaurants donate $1 directly to Campaign for Kids.
The Impact
All proceeds stay within Kings County to support local children in financial need. These funds are managed by Campaign for Kids.

How is the winner chosen?
Your Vote Counts!
After trying one of the participating burgers, head to our Rating Page and give the burger a score out of 7. Share your contact details, and you’ll also be entered to win great prizes!
How do we pick the winner?
Two local high school math teachers analyze our data at the end of the month. They use statistical testing to account for sample sizes and determine the People’s Choice Award winner.
